Judith L. O'Rourke

Judith L. O'Rourke
DIRECTOR

     Judy O’Rourke has been a member of the SU community for more than 25 years, first as a student and now as a staff member.
     As well as being the Director of the Office of Undergraduate Studies in Academic Affairs, she is a member of various councils and advisory boards including the Critical Incident Management Team and the Remembrance Scholarship selection committee.
     She is also the recorder for the Academic Coordinating Committee (ACC).
     As coordinator for SU’s External Fellowships Committee, Judy works with faculty members to recruit, select, and mentor students who are eligible to apply for post-graduate fellowships such as the Rhodes, Marshall, Fulbright, etc.
     She is currently a member of the University Senate and has enjoyed working on various Senate committees.
     Judy has been an integral part of the Pan Am 103 Remembrance here at Syracuse University since its inception. She was recently recognized by the Victims of Pan Am 103 with an award for "Keeping the Spirit Alive".




Eileen N. Fahey

Administrative Assistant/Office Coordinator

     Eileen Fahey has been part of the Undergraduate Studies team for more than six years. Prior to that, she was a member of the Admissions staff. Eileen is a graduate of Syracuse University and the guiding force for many projects across campus including Holiday Sharing, the United Way, and the Remembrance Scholar Selection Committee.




Jessica E. Sauve

     Jessica Sauve is a 2008–2009 Remembrance Scholar and a 2009 graduate of the College of Arts & Sciences and the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Jessica loves music and is very involved with the family support programs at the First English Lutheran Church in Syracuse. She calls the Upper Penninsula of Michigan home and hopes to be working in Economic Development soon.




Gregory D. Sides

     Greg Sides is a 2009–2010 Remembrance Scholarwho hails from Pennsylvania. He is a Senior in the Honors Program dually enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences and the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Greg is involved in many campus groups including Habitat for Humanity and the LGBT program, and has been a Resident Advisor.




Melanie R. Wheeler

Melanie R. Wheeler
Webmaster

     Melanie Wheeler started her SU career in the Chemistry department before spending several years in Sponsored Accounting. She came to Academic Programs and Undergraduate Studies from the Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs in the Maxwell School. As well as being our webmaster, she is the administrative assistant to Associate Provost Sandra Hurd, and budget manager for all units reporting to Professor Hurd.
